About This Product

WEICAR Silicone Spray is a synthetic lubricant that provides high lubrication, water repellency, and protection without leaving an oily or sticky residue. It is a dust-free maintenance spray used especially to protect plastic, rubber, and metal parts from sticking together, wear, and moisture.

In the automotive industry it prevents rubber seals from drying out and cracking, and stops doors from freezing and sticking in winter.

Where To Use It

• Automatic windows that are difficult or noisy to open and close
• Stuck or slowly retracting seatbelt mechanisms
• Seat adjustment mechanisms
• Treadmill belts — lubricating the underside to reduce motor load and prevent overheating
• Plastic, rubber, and polyurethane injection moulds, for clean release

How To Use It

1. Remove any old grease, dust, dirt, and moisture from the area to be sprayed — the cleaner the surface, the better the silicone film will adhere.
2. Shake the can for 10–15 seconds before use.
3. Holding the can upright, spray a thin, even layer from approximately 20–30 cm.
4. For hard-to-reach areas such as lock cylinders, window rails, or delicate mechanisms, attach the included thin application nozzle and apply precisely.
5. Wait a few seconds for the solvent to evaporate and the silicone film to dry.
6. If you have sprayed too much or any liquid has spilled, gently wipe away the excess with a clean, dry cloth.
